For being at national conservative bloggers conference, RightOnline, I haven’t done much blogging. I’ve done a lot of tweeting, just no blogging. I’ve been here since Thursday and I can only say that I’ve been impressed and encouraged by the direction of conservative online activism and the conservative movement as a whole. Every speaker and every blogger I’ve heard or spoke to has been looking forward not backward. We are ripe with new solutions so we can return to the ways of American exceptionalism. This has been a clear contrast of the left’s Doctrine of Apology and Blame that we’ve have all seen with the failure of Obama’s economy and a foreign policy that leads from behind and the occasional bow to a foreign leader.
However, this conference hasn’t been too serious and people like Andrew Breitbart have kept it light hearted. One example comes from a speech he have last night in which he said, “If you can sell things like jfreedom and liberty you suck. And by suck, I mean Suck!” Or his advice for dealing with the main stream media, “Be as petty as possible.” Ha!
Anyways, I’m currently listening to the likes of Michelle Malkin ,from Hot Air, and RedState.com founder Erick Erickson. I appreciate them letting me blog while they speak but I have a feeling they don’t care. Presidential candidates Herman Cain and Michelle Bachmann are going to speak later today and I hope to make some time to give you an outline of their speech. I want to see how their message has changed since the last debate.
